En Noir SS13

Robert Garcia made all men scream with a ferocious roar for the Spring/Summer 2013 menswear collection. Model Willy Cartier had the opportunity to be photographed by Nabil Elderkin a talented photographer for the En Noir look-book this season. Willy was also styled by Rita Zebdi a fierce fashion stylist who made each look unique in a sense of illuminati prince swagger some may say. The collection was dominantly black for a more sophisticated look and had an accent color of white. Leather was mostly used in this seasons SS13 line which made the line genius and gave it class. The triangular shapes provided dimension and gave structure to the line, Rita also layered each look which everyone should know is almost key in every outfit. Elderkin used black and white for the look-book photos that gave a religious but modern touch to each picture Willy posed in. Men are coming on top in the world of fashion and with designers such as Robert Garcia will make this industry realize that men's fashion is just as important as women's fashion. Be daring and be yourself, play with fashion and make a statement that will last forever.

Meet Andre J. a fashion forward outrageous cat living on what we all call planet earth. I came across this ferocious animal while browsing through some of LOOKBOOK's biggest fashion crazes. His style and creativity intrigued me to dig deeper into the world that he sees fashion through.

With vibrant colors and stand out pieces it's hard to overlook Mr. Judd passing you by. The way his outfits are paired together is almost as if we are looking at some kind of chameleon of some sort. Having bright pinks, neon greens, and the colors of the night amongst his bare skin Andre has achieved quiet the name for himself.

Former designer and contributing fashion editor it's no wonder Judd knows how to make a statement and be on top of the fashion polls. The patterns that Andre tends to use are some of which I myself couldn't pull off. Crazy floral patterns, unique shapes, and animal faces makes each look stand out on it's own with no hesitation that this is a no beginner at what is being done here and that's capturing "art" with a camera.

I personally couldn't imagine wearing such scandalous art in public but the thought of it makes me feel a bit naughty. Some of my favorite looks are White Couture, Chanel Chains, Scarf Print Bazzar, True Religion, Green Day, and Colorock. Those are only a few of my many favorites I have of Andre's personal style. If only my closet was as extravagant as his I too would rule the fashion world. I can't wait to see what Andre has in store for us in 2013!

Fashion is what you make of it so make the best of your style and stand out. Confidence leaves us with the ability to not see what others see in us, but to make others see what we want them to see. Go out there and take the world by it's nudeness and throw something fancy on while living free like a wild beast.

Reflecting on today's class

Today in class we had to choose someone that we consider to be an influential aspect in our life as well as being a TOP 20. I sat to think for a second then quickly came to the realization that there is only one person that is my hero, that person is my best friend Leigha Cardew. I nervously stood up in class because we all had to individually talk about the person we had selected and began to read what I wrote. Mid sentence I stopped and put the paper gently on the table with tears building in my eyes I poured my heart out on how much this angel that God purposely put into my life means to me. Her positive outlook on life and wanting me to become a successful being makes me want to keep pushing to have a better future. Leigha has become more then a friend to me she is my soul mate and I couldn't have asked for a better person to call my best friend.
